1. How much will the new building cost? $850,000
2. What added construction/remodeling will cost us? Estimated to cost us between $250,000 and $300,000. This is a rough estimate at this point. When we get an architectural design we can get to a much closer number.
3. Since this an automotive building was there an environmental study done? Yes, and it will be accessible when we sign. Our real estate contract will require we have access.
4. Do we know right now if we will have a charge for the environmental study? The owner stated that he passed the environmental study and nothing else needs to be done. The owner has paid for the Phase 1 study and stated it is clear, with nothing else needed.
5. Is there a way to reduce the remodeling cost? Yes, the more volunteers we have to help with the remodeling the less we will have to pay.
6. Will we have to pay double rent plus building purchase? Maybe. This will depend on construction capabilities and timing.
7. Do we have money in savings for this project? Yes, approximately 170,000.
8. Can we rent to own? No
9. Can the owner finance part or all of the sale? No
10. How do you plan on paying for the building? We are looking for investors who are willing to invest in our church. At a 0-2% interest rate and the tax benefits at the end of the year.
11. By moving into this new building will we have more space? Currently we have 4,000 sq. ft. and this new building will double our size up to 8,000 sq. ft.
12. Currently we have one bathroom for men and one for women. Will we have more bathroom space in the new building? We will still have one bathroom for men and one for women but with more stalls in each bathroom.
