Week 3 Matthew Series
Welcome to High Plains Harvest Church. We are in week 3 of a new series, the study of Matthew. As we take a fresh look at one the earliest writers of the New Testament, it will be exciting to walk through the life of Jesus Christ and His ministry to the nation of Israel, but also to the disciples and the adoption of the Gentiles. Matthew will be a lengthy series, as it is a significant book in nature and depth of the development of Christ’s ministry.
We are currently in the second half of Chapter 2, where Joseph and Mary flee Bethlehem as Herod desires to secretly worship the “babe. Of course we know the real reason for Herod’s interest, as he fears one who is “born of the Jews”. Herod usurped the throne, but he does not wish to give it up, let alone to one who is the rightful heir.
Come join us as we walk through a study that will challenge your knowledge of the Christ child, and the development of God’s plan for the nations. We meet at 9:30 am at 108 1st street in Ault. High Plains Harvest Church, where the Holy Spirit definitely resides. Join us!
